Beach Attendance

The following observations are to help you estimate beach attendance: 

• Clear skies – no cloud cover – is the biggest indicator in determining attendance. Most visitors are simply looking to get a tan.
• The weekends, especially Sunday, are prone to larger crowds.
• Beach attendance peaks between 2:30 and 3:30.
• A high attendance day: Saturday or Sunday, mostly Sunny, 75 F° – 95 F°, moderate or no wind. North Ave Beach and Oak Street Beach will be crowded – come early!
